Boez
Last night City played host to the Gypsies at the X . The game was live on Rte 2 which maybe was the cause for the attendance smaller then it should have been.
Boez were expecting too bring 500+ supporters down but they only had 40 on a damp eveining at the cross. Georgie was taking a corner next too the boez "fans" and was subjected too some awful abuse. 2/3 of the jackeen scum were escorted out .
The first half was suprisingly nearly dominated by Bohs with numerous chances which they couldnt put away notably a Barry Ferguson header which went just too the left of Mick Devines Goal.
The first half flew past even though City were not entirely convincing, Neal Horgan was not his usual self but to be honest all of the players didnt play entirley well. There was a slight improvment in the quaity of Citys play and a well worked move led too a great goal by John O Flynn. I celebrated for the team but not the player and was really relieved that we were 1-0 up in a game that Bohs were on top for much of the game. Late in the game the ball came into the crowd and the usual chant of up up up was sung Bohs number 3 Des Byrne was not pleased and grabbed a supporter by the throat this is unacceptable and I expect that he will not be charged or Disciplined but the Disciplinary Committee , just another example of the bias that exists with teams from the Pale.
Overall Bohs were on top for the majority of the game but 3 ponits is 3 points
